(More customer reviews)After almost 2 weeks trying to trap one pesky little mouse in our kitchen, we caught him in a single night with the CornerCat.

This trap is designed to be a "glue trap" in which the mice enter the trap and become stuck in a glue strip contained inside.I find this to be a horribly barbaric way to kill the mice (if you are going to kill them, show some sack and have the guts to do it quicky with a spring type trap rather than starving the poor creature to death).But by removing the glue strip the trap is very easily converted to a humane catch-and-release trap, which is how we used it.We simply baited it with a little bit of instant oatmeal placed along the one-way ramp, set it in the corner, and let it work it's magic.One happy homeowner, one happy wife, and one happy mouse released into a field a quarter mile or so away.

I would have rated this 5 stars if it had not been designed specifically as a glue trap, but had instead had an easier way to open a side panel or something for releasing the little critters.As it is you must pry the lid back open and risk an irate little rodent jumping out at you.In our case he did no such thing (just bolted away) but consider yourself warned.
