(More customer reviews)I tried using a two pack purchased at Walmart.I was so please I ordered the twelve pack.
At first the traps worked exceptionally well.They were emptied in less than 12 hours. More likely from 2-8 hours.
No matter what the time span the captive mouse would scratch and gnaw at the side of the flapper or adjacent side of the cage until they could escape. I tried glueing piecs of aluminum salvaged from a pop can over the damaged area but this didn't work . The traps became feeding stations for the mice.
As much as I hatedI have retired these traps as well as some mechanical "humane" I had experimented with and have gone back to the old fashion Victor lethal traps.
Just remember these traps have a limited life. The faster you can get the mice removed the less damage will occur.
The less damage the longer the trap will last.

Directions For Use: 1. To bait trap, spread peanut butter on a cracker and place it at the far end of the trap opposite the door. HINT: To help attract mouse to trap, spread a very thin layer of peanut butter on the swinging door - wipe of any excess so peanut scent remains, and the door swings freely. 2. Place trap along wall or in area where mouse droppings are prevalent. Warning: Check trap once or twice a day, as mouse will expire if left in Mice Cube. 3. To release the mouse, take the Mice Cube outside and turn the trap upside down. The door will open and the mouse can exit. 4. If mouse has expired in trap, you may dispose of it in a refuse container without ever touching the mouse!
