(More customer reviews)We ended up using this product in our RV after camping during a rainy week.Because of being out camping, our purchasing options were limited.We bought 2 pkg. of these glue traps, and 2 spring loaded traps.Thank goodness the springloaded traps were inexpensive.We had placed these traps in areas we knew the mice were traveling, and would check to see if the traps had caught anything, only to find the bait had been taken and no mice were caught.We then placed the glue traps down in the same areas as the spring traps....Whoa! caught a mouse in less than 10 minutes.
Previously, for mice in my home, I had purchased humane traps...these never caught a mouse in the house, however did have a slight improvement catching mice around the edge of the house outside....however, after doing research on how to release the mice, you find that if the mouse if not taken at least 2 miles away for release, you will be continually catching the same mouse because he will return.
I have also tried poison in the past.This is timely!And of couse, I watched with increasiing guilt as a mouse sat and ate the poison.This guilt disappeared days later, as a furiously moved furniture and appliances trying to find the disgusting smell his decaying little body was emitting.
The baited glue traps also left me with a terrible burden of guilt, but i don't believe a review should be writtenbased on personal morals. You will hear the mice trying to free themselves from the trap, and you will hear their squeeking.I just find that getting to the trap and disposing to the mouse (in the most humane way you can find) is better than haviing these critter getting into your food or running all over you while you sleep.
The fact is, the traps I bought caught 6 mice in 2 1/2 days. We will be going camping again shortly, and you can bet we are stocking up on these glue traps as one of our "must have's" in the RV.
